Stand Alone SEI Endorsement Course
Requirements for Successful Completion
For those enrolled in the course to earn PDPs, successful completion includes the following:
· Completion of all assignments, activities and projects
· SEI mini lesson plan and presentation
· Completion of the SEI Capstone project
· A minimum of 10 hours with a second language student
· B or better as a final grade in the course
· Adherence to the attendance and participation policy
Attendance and Participation Policy
The course format depends heavily on class participation and student interaction, therefore, it is expected that participants are on time, are prepared to discuss assigned course readings/materials, and contribute to whole/small group discussions. Participants should complete all assignments by the specific due dates
Attendance to all class sessions is required. If, however, a participant misses a session, it is his/her responsibility to work with the course instructor to arrange for making up the missing class.
The SEI endorsement will be conferred upon successful completion of the course for those enrolled in EDUC 595: Stand Alone SEI Endorsement course.
