The Behavioral Health Roadmap of Massachusetts
The plenary speakers and panel discussion will focus on the evolution and creation of the Behavioral Health Roadmap for the state of Massachusetts. Through the historical context of mental health and substance use services in MA, attendees will gain an understanding of the Behavioral Health Helpline, Community Behavioral Health Centers, Behavioral Health Urgent Care, and Crisis Intervention and Stabilization services available to all MA residents regardless of insurance status. Attendees will identify the immediate, short-term, and long-term implementation plans, and how the roadmap will benefit client(s) in their behavioral health setting. Finally, with the goal of increasing access to services, a panel discussion will be provided to answer questions, clarify interventions used across the roadmap, and identify ways to create collaborative partnerships between community behavioral health providers and those working across the roadmap services.
