Water Distribution Manager III and IV Certification Exam Preparation   

Public Water Systems are required to have trained and certified operators to operate the water system. This workshop, based on the ABC Need-To-Know Criteria, provides students with a review of the processes needed to help ensure that operators have the knowledge to adequately operate, maintain and manage the public water system.

Attendees will discuss and gain knowledge about topics relevant to Water Distribution Manager level III and IV Water Works Operator Certification. The information presented will be used by operators in making decisions for the operation of the Public Water Systems that will influence water quality, water supply, and public health protection.

Topics covered include: Exam Prep, Formulas & Conversions, Math Review, Science Review, Compliance, Safety, Water System Operation Maintenance & Procedures, CCC and Backflow, Control Systems, and Supervision & Management.

Meets WA Department of Health Relevancy Criteria for Waterworks Operator Professional Growth.

 

ADDITIONAL WDM III & IV MATH REVIEW CLASS (separate registration required)

A supplemental math class titled WDM III & IV Math Review is offered the day before this Cert Exam Prep Course. The optional math class is geared toward those planning to take the WDM III & IV Cert Exam who would like additional practice and instruction in math pertaining to the exam.  The math class is a separate registration from the two-day exam prep class and is not a requirement; you may select which class, or combination of classes, best suits your needs. For details on the one-day WDM III & IV Math class, click here.
