Water Works Basics   

Updated texts and audio-visual aids build a foundation from which to manage, operate, and maintain large- and small-water systems. Learn important water-quality and public-health information, practice identifying water-system components, learn component purposes and functions, and be briefed on applicable drinking water rules and regulations, certification and professional growth requirements.
Students will pick up practical safety and health information vital to reducing injuries and avoiding costly and embarrassing enforcement actions. Learn the latest information on water storage, pumps and controls, disinfection, pipes, valves, hydrants, meters and records.
