BAT Refresher (3 days)

During 2026, the Refresher Course will be offered approximately every three months in each location.

Auburn: March, June and September.
Spokane: April, July and October.
There will be no Refresher in either location in Nov or Dec.

This three-day course provides Backflow Assembly Testers with the information they need to meet the Professional Growth Examination requirement for Backflow Assembly Tester Certification, Professional Growth Requirement in Washington State. Participants will refresh their knowledge of backflow preventers, the backflow preventer components, and how they function. Learn the latest specifications for backflow prevention assembly installation and inspection. This is a hands-on workshop where students will practice approved procedures to test and diagnose simulated problems in different kinds of assemblies as you prepare for the BAT Professional Growth Examination.

Meets WA Department of Health Relevancy Criteria for Waterworks Operator Professional Growth for 2.1 CEU.
