The Society for Lifelong Learning (SLL) at WKU is a vibrant community of adults over 50 who share a love of
learning and enjoy the company of the intellectually curious. Now, SLL members can truly learn: "for the fun of it."
The membership organization is affiliated with the University's Division of Extended Learning and Outreach and
meets at the Knicely Conference Center in Bowling Green, KY. That means parking is never a problem!
As a society, SLL members contribute as instructors, participate in lively class discussions, serve on a committees
to manage the organization, and enjoy a wide variety of other learning and social events. The SLL is a unique
learning environment because, in this academic setting, members enjoy the no-tests/no-grades format of courses.
The SLL curriculum includes courses in such diverse topics as foreign policy decisions, local and world history,
physics and the world around us, arts and literature, as well as study and travel programs.
