Semester scholarships are funded through the generosity of The Bernard Osher Foundation and are available on a limited, competitive basis. To qualify, applicants must be 50 years of age or older with an annual adjusted gross income less than $50,000. Proof of eligibility may be requested.
The scholarship funds apply directly toward the semester’s membership fee. Successful applicants are asked to contribute $25 toward the balance of the tuition. The member is also responsible for the cost of an annual parking permit (if needed; $17 for 2025-26 academic year; likely to increase for 2026-27) and/or any additional fees for class materials, event admission or transportation.
Applications for Fall 2026 scholarships are accepted online only from June 1-30, 2026. Successful applicants will be notified by email in mid-July. The Fall semester runs from September 14-December 11, 2026.
