Please read all notes below for important information about the motorcycle course before you register!
If you have already completed a full Basic Motorcycle RiderCourse and need to re-register for a second time, please call us at (775) 445-4210.
Please Note: The primary purpose of this course is to keep riders safe on the roads. This may include giving prospective riders the important feedback that they're not yet ready to ride on public streets. Although students who pass the written and riding exams that are incorporated into the course receive a Motorcyle Safety Foundation (MSF) completion card to take to the Nevada DMV to obtain a class M (motorcycle) endorsement on their current Nevada driver's license, this waiver is not the primariy purpose of the course. In other words: this is a safety course that may result in licensing, not a licensing course!
Aimed at beginning riders, this program introduces students to motorcycle controls, motorcycle riding, basic maneuvers, street riding and traffic skills. All levels of experience are welcome.
A motorcycle is provided for all students. Classes use 250CC Honda Rebels, Suzuki TU250s, and BMW G310s.

A Note About Course Fees
Motorcycle course registreation fees are non-refundable. Once you complete your registration, your class fee will not be refunded unless WNC cancels your scheduled course. Please note that course fees will not be refunded if you are dismissed from your course for tradiness, failure to comply with instructions, failure to wear required riding grea, fialure to make the required skill progression, or any other reason. RiderCoaches reserve the right to dismiss students from class, and the final authority to make these decisions rests with the RiderCoach assigned to the course.
If you need to switch to another section of the course, WNC reserves the right to apply a $10 switch fee. The ability to switch courses is dependent upon class availability and subject to the discretion of WNC. It is not guaranteed. The inability to switch courses does not entitel students to a refund of course fees.
Exceptions to this policy may be made in extenuating cirumstances. Please call the Continuing Education office at (775) 445-4210 with inquiries.
Inclement Weather Policy
Part or all of your course may be cancelled due to weather. While we make every effort to ensure courses happen as scheduled, there are some circumstances that require the cancellation of class for safety reasons. If your course is cancelled due to weather, we will make every effort to reschedule you into another available course, or to schedule a makeup course to cover the portion of the course that was cancelled. If we cannot get you into another course within the same calendar year, including if you are unavailable during the times offered, we will offer a full refund of your course fees. In the event that you do not respond to our attempts to reach out to you for rescheduling within a 5-day period following our initial contact, you will no longer be eligible for a refund.
