In this class we will discover, discuss, celebrate, debate, and enjoy the gems from the much-maligned decade of the 1980's. Many critics and fans have derided the era as void of strong movies, especially when one compares it to the decades of the 1970's and 1960's. The class not only encourages participation and discussion, but celebrates it! We'll view films from not only the United States, but the world as well.
