From Page to Stage NEW!

Two classic works of British literature – each tackling issues of family, romance, and the ties that bind us together – are coming to the stage in Walla Walla! Together, we will read and discuss Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and The Winter's Tale by William Shakespeare in preparation for watching each work come alive onstage. Class sessions will consist of short lectures and in-depth discussions of each text. By the time students see the staged productions at the Little Theatre of Walla Walla and Whitman College's Harper Joy Theatre, they will have a nuanced understanding of each work, providing a delightful viewing experience for all.
