Hiking the Juniper Dunes NEW!

The Juniper Dunes Wilderness Area is one of the most interesting environments in the Walla Walla region... especially if you know the best places to look. On this trip, we will enter the Juniper Dunes through a remote back entrance - one that's accessible only a few months out of the year but provides access to the largest sand dunes in the shortest distance. We will hike approximately 2.5 miles across both soil and sand, exploring this unusual environment, before eating lunch atop a dune.
