Not to be confused with an autobiography, a memoir is the story of specific events in your life that may be interesting or important for many different reasons. If you're thinking of writing a memoir of your own, then this class may be just what you need to help you begin! Through presentations, discussions, and sharing of writings, students will learn how to clarify their intentions and find a path to follow. We will discuss styles, points of view, and descriptive elements so that readers will have a clear picture of the narrative presented. Through weekly assignments shared with fellow students and constructive feedback from the instructor, you will be off to a good start on your memoir by the class's end.
