    The Craft It Arts program consists of the following three classes:


    Lovin’ From the Oven! 

    This hands-on baking class will teach the essentials of baking several tasty treats. Students will learn the fundamentals in class, then receive recipes that they can take home and make for their families. Muffins, chocolate chip cookies, cupcakes, and pizzas: all these will be baked with love!

    Building Worlds Through Comics 

    Build your own universe and develop all the great characters from your imagination through the world of comics! Learn helpful techniques, interesting strategies, and useful practices that will improve your cartooning. Through these fun exercises, you’ll make your very own story come to life through the vivid and exciting medium of sequential art.

    Welding Wizards: From Scrap to Sculpture 

    There’s no better time to gain foundational skills in welding and sculpture! Led by a professional welder and a recent graduate of WWCC's welding program, this course offers instruction emphasizing safety, basic welding techniques, and creative application. Students will learn how to safely operate welding equipment to design and construct found metal sculptures. By the end, you’ll have a work of art ready to put on display!

    The Performing Arts program consists of the following three classes:


    Shadow Puppetry: Live Animation 

    Once, shadow puppetry was created with torchlight and leather shapes. Now, shadow puppet stories are live-animated movies that you make by hand. Students in this class will learn modern techniques for this ancient art form to create a brand-new fairy tale adaptation, using simple tools to craft beautiful, live, visual story.

    Theater ABCs: Acting, Blocking, and Characterization Part 1 

    Dive into the world of whimsical storytelling and performance! Under the guidance of instructors Ms. Katie and Ms. Kaelyn, students will embark on an adventure to perform their very own fun fairytale play. Through improvisation, character development, and teamwork, students will explore acting fundamentals, building confidence and unleashing creativity in this dynamic course.

    Theater ABCs: Acting, Blocking, and Characterization Part 2 

    Continue the adventure! Students will refine their skills, focusing on memorization, character choices, and how costumes and props can be coordinated with those choices for their play. Rehearsals progress rapidly as students collaborate to master stage directions, polish delivery, and fine-tune work as an ensemble in preparation to captivate audiences onstage.
