This full-day workshop offers a practical, immersive introduction to the Simonit&Sirch method of grapevine pruning, a technique grounded in vine health, structure, and longevity. Designed for industry professionals and students, the experience begins with morning instruction and in-class demonstrations that outline the method's core principles, including vascular flow preservation and controlled growth structure. In the afternoon, participants move into the vineyard for guided demonstrations and hands-on pruning practice. This workshop emphasizes skill-building through direct engagement with the vine and supports growers seeking to refine their approach to sustainable pruning in diverse viticultural contexts.
