Build on what you learned in the Beer Appreciation: A Taster Series class with this more advanced course. Each class session will focus on a different beer style. Learn to taste, evaluate, and describe various beer styles, including English, German, Belgian, Czech, and holiday beers. We will also cover ingredients like hops & malts, as well as beer making. To top it all off, a brewmaster guest speaker will join us for the last session.
We will be mailing ingredient samples to registrants a week before class begins. Please register early!
A suggested beers list will be provided to registrants before class begins. The list will depend on what local brewpubs are brewing at the time of the class. Some of the local brewpubs make excellent examples of these styles.
