History of Paleontology and Some Arizona Fossil Research   NEW!

This class will highlight the early history of paleontology and some more recent paleontology work which has been conducted in Arizona. From this class you will understand how the history of paleontology developed and has influenced our concepts of the biological world and ourselves. You will also discover recent and ongoing paleontology research in Arizona, including the findings from three fossil sites I have been working on. I will also be answering specific questions you may have regarding this science.  In addition, I have served, since 2006, on the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology’s Ask a Paleontologist site: (http://vertpaleo.org/What-is-Vertebrate-Paleontology/Ask-a-Paleontologist.aspx)
