Continue your personal connection to history by learning how you can search for information about your ancestors, trace your family’s lineage and history, evaluate relevant documents as well as preserve your family’s unique story by utilizing online and offline genealogy resources. Part 2 will focus on how to: evaluate and organize the data discovered, position your ancestors in time and place, and capture your ancestor’s stories. Each class will allow for time for you to work on your family tree. Students will benefit more from this class by having a subscription to and/or experience with at least one of the following: FamilySearch.org (FREE), MyHeritage.com, Ancestry.com or FindMyPast.com. It is recommended Part 1 be taken prior to Part 2.
