Utilizing the popular subscription website, these three sessions of a beginner’s class will address the difference between “search” and “research.” You will learn how to build a family tree at, locate relevant evidence to support tracing an ancestor’s life (including DNA matching tools) and how to connect generations. Basic computer skills and a subscription to are required. (Note: If you have not previously used, they typically offer a 14-day free trial, which could be partially used for the purpose of this course.)
