The writing fun continues! Explore the four styles of non-fiction writing:  Expository (news and media), Persuasive, Descriptive, and Narrative. This class uses the grammar building blocks from the Practical Grammar class to empower students to take the editor’s pen. Topics addressed are paragraph development, rhetoric, word choice, figurative language, narrative structure, and point of view and voice in writing. Enjoy an interactive format with lively team activities, small groups, large group discussions, and one-on-one feedback from the instructor. Instructor Jenna Schmitt is a former English professor, published writer, corporate trainer, and owner of Red Pen Business Consulting.
