Building Genealogical Timelines

Genealogical Timelines help examine an ancestor’s life to uncover gaps in research, and/or inconsistencies. Timelines are an organizational tool which should be in every researcher’s toolbox; especially, when facing brick wall challenges or writing an ancestor’s story. Learn how and why to augment timeline tools provided by popular genealogical software programs, and/or how to build a custom timeline without a genealogical software program.
