NATURE: Garden Art (G: 3-5)

Youngsters in Grades 3-5 will learn the benefits of birds, bees and butterflies in the garden. Each student will have the opportunity to create bird feeders, bug homes, and other garden art projects which add to the joy of gardening. Students will plan and construct bird feeders known to attract beneficial birds, and homes for other beneficial garden animals. Each student will maintain a garden journal, including their own creative layout and lists of favorite plants. Learning happens throughout campus, from the classroom, to the nature trail, and of course, the greenhouse! Instructors: Arielle Engle & Debbie Crincoli
