Horticulture production activities involved with the growing of market crops. Emphasis on hydroponic, greenhouse and field grown orchard and row crops. Includes team work and hands on learning managing and producing in an extensive greenhouse, orchard, organic and research gardens and flower beds. State of the art computer controls system and cutting edge techniques used in the cultivation of food crops and ornamentals. This Hybrid course meets in-person on Wednesdays and is online 8/12 - 12/9/23.
Part One of this course meets 8/16 - 10/6/23. To continue through December, students must register and pay for Part Two, 10/7 - 12/9/23.
