The Beatles: The Making of Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band & The White Album   NEW!

This class will follow in the footsteps of The Beatles as they embark on the creation of their celebrated recording "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" and continue with their follow up 9th studio album, entitled "The Beatles" (aka "The White Album"). We will explore the genesis of how the songs were written and recorded, production techniques, musical influences, and the iconic 'Sgt. Pepper's" cover art. We will journey with the band as they record "The White Album", through their turbulent year (1968) that even though faced with personal and creative differences, their studio output far exceeded their annual work from previous years. The class will be enhanced by visual backgrounds and audio clips. To quote John Lennon " A splendid time is guaranteed for all!"
