Aikido: Introduction to Principles & Practice I    NEW!

Explore a fascinating martial practice with deep spiritual foundations in this gentle, 'no fall' class. Founder Morihei Ueshiba called Aikido 'the Art of Peace,' its purpose that of restoring harmony rather than returning violence for violence. We will work with the whole being in this class, including breathing and movement-based warm-ups; alignment and movement exercises; interactive partner practices; and discussion based on the Founder's ideas. Learn about the insights of a true wisdom teacher as you benefit from mindful breathing, improved posture and balance, and increased flexibility. Class takes place at Katsujinken Aikido Dojo. Directions will be provided.
