CULINARY: Wine Appreciation   

Maybe you're new to wine appreciation or you're an old pro: Either way, you can benefit from further developing your palate with Paula Woolsey CSW, a pioneer of Verde Valley viticulture.

 

This course is intended as a step up from our Understanding Wine A-Z course, but no knowledge or skills other than an open mind are required to take part. This introductory course has been designed to give students the basics to further their wine appreciation, and will introduce students to the different regions, grape varieties and styles of wine.

 

The course will cover topics such as pairing wine with food, decanting and serving, restaurant wine lists, and proper storage and cellaring. If you've had a perfect pairing, you've experienced magic.

 

In this course, you'll learn strategies to maximize your chances of making good or even great matches.

 

*Must be 21 years old.
