Genealogy: How to Begin the Journey Using  

Interested in genealogy and learning about your family’s ancestry but have no idea where to begin? Utilizing the popular subscription website, these three sessions of a beginner’s class will address the difference between “search” and “research.” You will learn how to begin building your family tree and locate relevant evidence to support an ancestor’s life (including DNA matching tools) to connect the generations. Basic computer skills and a subscription to are required. (Note: If you have not previously used, they typically offer a 14-day free trial, which could be partially used for the purpose of this course.)
