    This fun, hands-on Ratatouille themed class is a must for young culinary enthusiasts! Students will learn kitchen safety, sanitation, basic knife skills and food preparation techniques. They will put their new skills to use preparing delicious dishes such as Linguini's Alfredo Pasta, French baguettes, Remy's Potato Soup, Colette's Apple Tart, Ratatouille and more! Students will enjoy their creations with a family style meal each day. Best of all, they will bring each day's recipes home to share. All skill levels are welcome as, Anyone Can Cook!

    Create delicious arts and crafts projects, using sweet and savory ingredients. Discover how to use edible “paint”, “glue”, “modeling clay”, and a variety of edible loose parts as we engage in the creative process together. Sample categories and activities include: “Edible Works of Art” (mosaic art, abstract art, sculptures); “Out of This World!” (aliens, spaceships, and fun challenges); and “Just for Fun!” (creating edible puzzles; and fooling your friends with “fake-out” foods, like “burgers and fries”). All projects are no-bake, easy to prepare, and can be used as fun afterschool (or anytime) treats. Related books and resources will be shared.

    If you love to bake or want to learn how to make some new and interesting items, this is the class for you! Students will be making a wide variety of baked goods including: quickbreads, yeast breads, ice cream, cream puffs, and decorated cupcakes. No experience necessary. Students will learn techniques for using weights and measures as well as food safety and sanitation practices. In addition to sampling finished products in class, students will have the opportunity to bring baked good home with them.
