Muscle-Testing is a simple yet powerful skill. This easy-to-learn method can be a very helpful part of making good choices in important areas of your life, with clarity and confidence. You will learn to muscle-test for information that can be used to help you make optimal choices in your selection of foods and supplements, and even in your relationships, work, and other important areas of your life. The class will include 4 muscle-testing techniques and 9 proven methods to maximize accuracy. We will also cover how to integrate information from muscle-testing with information from other sources of information. This class is practical and fun, and we will emphasize helping participants to learn methods to maximize your accuracy using this technique. It's important to attend both class meetings. A workbook is included in tuition.

This course presents concepts of spiritual life from the Catholic/Christian tradition and from Hinduism. Many of their commonalities will be identified, pointing toward underlying shared experience. Basics of both religions will be covered with emphasis on the meditative/contemplative practices of each. Techniques of meditation and of Christian contemplation will be explained, with opportunities for attendees to practice. Inspiration for this course is drawn from the presenter’s self-published book, “Spirit to Spirit Goes: A Pilgrimage from East to West” (not required).

The advanced class will cover the somatics of each type. This is pertaining to the body which comprises layers of armoring and social conditioning. We will explore how the enneagram can support us by bringing attention to our body and emotions in the context of our type. We will also explore more deeply the Hornevian and Harmony Groups to understand how our childhood conditioning affects our behavior. We will end with the way to growth for each type.

In this intermediate class, we will begin with a review of the basic types, then delve deeper into our personality types and core beliefs. We will study the 3 centers: head, heart, gut, the wings, the 9 levels of development including the directions of integration (growth) and disintegration (stress) as well as the 3 instincts: self-preservation, one-to-one, social. We will also be introduced to the Hornevian groups: The Compliant, Withdrawn, and Assertive Groups and we will present the Harmony Groups: the Idealist, Pragmatist, and the Relationist Groups. Finally, we will touch on the communication styles of each enneagram type.
According to David N. Daniels, M.D, one of the leaders in deciphering the enneagram, “The enneagram is an amazing, ancient system of typologies rooted in our own evolution and is one that describes the human condition from the inside out.”
