In this course we will take your knowledge of shopping and food selection and bring it to your table. We will highlight methods to help you plan and prep meals. You will learn easy ways to add flavor to dishes, utilize shortcuts, and make bulk cooking your friend, Food samples will be shared to illustrate easy ways to enhance flavor and several prepared dishes will also be shared. Specifically you will learn:
-to utilize shortcuts for dishes to reduce prep and cooking time
-use bulk cooking to save time -tips so you have healthy “grab and go” snacks
-easy ways to create flavorful and delicious vegan/vegetarian meals
-to accomodate a variety of eaters in your home without needing to prepare several different meals
-to make several satisfying desserts
At the end of the session you will have a new set of tools to help you and your family plan, prepare, cook and enjoy healthy meals. We will send you home with three new recipes and inspiration to introduce new food choices into your diet.
