Learn the steps to create an accurate portraiture and how best to apply the media of your choice. The challenge of drawing eye to hand will be replaced by the proven method of trace and transfer drawing. The students will be asked to supply their own photo reference. Photograph your subject with a closed mouth and expressionless. Photograph in either daylight or artificial light, try to avoid cast shadows. The instructor will bring photo reference options and take the students through the steps toward a completed work of art. During this class we will explore the full-face passive, full face expressive and your choice of an expression. Bring to class 8.5 x 11 sheet of white copy paper. Be prepared to work the first day.
