Writing Short Stories from First Sentence to Submission
Learn to write short stories in this intensive eight-session writing class! In a supportive environment, students roll up their sleeves and write the stories that only they can tell. Each student is expected to write approximately 2,000 – 7,000 words a week and produce 2 – 5 draft short stories. Students will then work with the instructor and classmates to revise and polish the story of their choice. At the end of class students submit to literary or genre markets.
