WING LUKE MUSEUM NEW!

The Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience is dedicated to immersing people in uniquely-American stories of survival, success, struggle, conflict, compassion and hope. Located in the heart of Seattle’s vibrant Chinatown-International District, our guided tour includes current exhibits as well as the museum’s historic spaces of the first Chinese import/export shop, and the Freeman Hotel, where countless immigrants first found a home, a meal and refuge. The Wing is in partnership with the Smithsonian Institute, and in 2013, was recognized as an affiliated area of the U.S. National Park Service. Museum admission included in class fee. In keeping with the theme of the tour, we’ll break for lunch at a Chinese restaurant (not included in class fee). Bus will meet you at Family of Grace Lutheran Church, 31317 124th Ave. S.E., Auburn (near the college).
