The Science of Happiness
What makes life worth living? How do we gain positive well-being and happiness? Positive psychology is the study of what makes people flourish in all areas of life. This class dives into the science of positive psychology to give you every day strategies you can use each day to increase positive well-being on a short- and long-term basis. We will discuss how to turn stress into a tool; how to experience more positive emotions; how gratitude makes people happier; why mindfulness is important to our wellbeing; and ideas for being happy in school, your job or future career.
