Art In Motion - Discovery of the Body, Health & Sports Fitness Through Dance   

“Art in Motion” is a week-long discovery for students to explore the arts, sports fitness, health and more by using dance as the median to do it! Each day participants will explore how dance and athletic training are strongly interconnected and how fundamental motor developments skills in sports such as agility, flexibility, muscle control, coordination and balance-work can improve their overall athletic performance by using dance as their baseline training method. Each class day, participants will uncover a new dance style ranging from Hip Hop, Ballet,Musical Theater, basic Acro Dance and even POYDS Dance Co’s favorite class, “Bust A Move” AthleticsBased Creative Movement tailored to help athletes excel at sports by using dance to do it! At the end of the week-long course, students will have a new appreciation of self-care, healthy lifestyles, sports fitness and the beautiful art of dance. So, what are you waiting for?
