We all have stories to tell. And now, while in the midst of a pandemic, we’re compelled to tell them to work through what we’ve experienced. This course helps you gather your thoughts and create stories to tell in person, in writing, visually, or all of the above; for yourself, friends, family, colleagues, children, and/or theatre audience. Led by Pam Roth O'Mara, artist, author, instructor, performer, and outdoor program leader, you’ll learn how to capture the important parts of your story. From there you’ll learn to build and tell a compassionate story that compels your audience to listen. We’ll look at techniques for outlining, private journaling, public presentation, and theatrical performance; as well as how to adjust your story for different audiences.
