This course is designed to promote effective and advance reading, writing and oral communication. Vocabulary in context, grammar, and cultural units will be covered. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to discuss possible actions in the present and future, to convey hypothetical or contrary to fact statements (Si clauses), to refer to completed actions or past actions that are relevance in the present (Pretérito perfecto del Subjuntivo), to discuss actions completed before others in the past (Pluscuamperfecto de Indicativo), to refer to actions or conditions that had taken place before another past occurrence (Pluscuamperfecto del Subjuntivo/pluperfect subjunctive), to express what will have happened at a certain point (Futuro perfecto), to express what would have occurred but did not (Condicional perfecto), to express unexpected occurrences, to relate impersonal information (se impersonal), and to emphasize size or express affection or ridicule (diminutives and augmentatives). The course also includes activities such as: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, writing and speaking.

This course also includes activities such as reading comprehension, listening comprehension, writing, and speaking.
