Turning your dream of owning a business into a reality can quickly become overwhelming if you haven't prepared for the "hidden" challenges that come with it. In this course, you'll learn what most business guides leave out—the practical, everyday realities that could make or break your success. Led by an instructor with 20 years of experience in bank lending and as a former restaurant owner, this class offers a no-nonsense approach to understanding the true demands of business ownership.

    Key Takeaways:

    • The True Realities of Business Ownership: Insights into what owning a business is really like, beyond the dream.
    • Creating a Realistic Business Plan: Learn how to develop projections, marketing strategies, and assess demand for your product or service.
    • Strategic Partnerships: Understand the essential team members you’ll need—CPAs, bookkeepers, marketers, and more—and how to find them.
    • Managing the Unexpected: Prepare for things outside your control, like weather, competition, bad employees, and taxes.
    • Cash Flow & Financial Projections: Learn how to forecast your finances and plan for the future.
    • Work-Life Balance: Find out how much time to realistically dedicate to your business and avoid burnout.

By the end of this course, you'll be better equipped to tackle the challenges of running a business and avoid the costly mistakes that many first-time entrepreneurs make.
