Since 1997, Baylor University has endorsed the Institute of Reading Development, a nationwide leader in reading instruction that helps students build the reading skills they need to succeed while developing a lifelong love of books.
The Institute of Reading Development brings you in-person or online reading instruction. These specialized courses are built for Pre-K and K-12 students, as well as college freshmen, transfer students, or even students entering graduate work who would like to maximize their reading and comprehension skills for advanced coursework. IRD courses are designed specifically by grade level to help students master reading skills, including reading comprehension and reading speed, to build confidence in their ability and enable them to excel in other academic areas.
