Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC/CUNY and partner Lehman College/CUNY has received New York State funding to support the creation and enhancement of short-term credential programs and courses meant to provide pathways to business creation and employment in the growing cannabis industry.
CUNY BMCC and Lehman College's Cannabis Workforce and Business Development program will provide trainings in security, retail and production as well as help small business owners obtain recreational adult use licenses and the operations of cannabis related businesses.
The New York State Department of Labor anticipates thousands of those new jobs will be created in the next few years. BMCC can help prepare you for your dream job in the medical and recreational marijuana economy.
