 This course delves deeper into the world of digital photography. Take your photos to the next level through classroom lectures, demonstrations, and instructor-led photo shoots. Topics covered include advanced exposure control, histogram, focus point selection, custom white balance, shooting in RAW, compelling composition techniques, storytelling, dynamic natural lighting, and light modifiers. Students should have taken Introduction to Digital Photography or have equivalent knowledge.PLEASE NOTE:
- A digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera or mirrorless camera with interchangeable lenses and manual settings is required.
- Please bring a notebook, your fully charged camera, and its instruction manual.

- A digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera or mirrorless camera with interchangeable lenses and manual settings is required. Point-and-shoot cameras are not acceptable for this class. If you are unsure if your camera is acceptable for the class, please email adultschool@bronxvilleschool.org.

- Students should already have basic knowledge of the operation of their camera.

PLEASE NOTE:
- REQUIREMENT: You must have the following basic computer skills to take this course: moving, copying, downloading, organizing and storing files; creating, organizing, and understanding folders on your hard drive; and copying files from your camera’s memory card.
- To get the most out of this course, it is recommended that you use photos from a camera that can shoot in RAW format.
- Students must bring their own fully charged laptop (no tablets or smartphones) with Adobe Lightroom Classic pre-installed.
- Lightroom Classic is included with an Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan purchased from Adobe and costs $11.99/mo, available for purchase by clicking here.
- Please ensure you have the classic version of the software installed on your laptop prior to attending the first session
