Who doesn’t deserve a custom-designed beaded necklace or two? And how satisfying that it’s created by you. The project will be tailored to the student’s ability to build on their skills to design and implement unique jewelry. Students should be comfortable with basic beadweaving techniques.

Where walking meets strength, balance, and well-being!

FitWalk is a unique, outdoor fitness class that combines brisk walking with light strength training to boost energy, build muscle, and improve balance—all in the fresh air of nature. Using light hand weights (2–5 lbs, based on your fitness level), you’ll move through functional strength intervals designed to support better bones, joint health, and a strong core. Each session hits all the major muscle groups and includes training for stability, coordination, and posture. No two classes are exactly the same—but every FitWalk focuses on total-body wellness, community, and motivation. Along the way, you'll also build mindfulness and mental clarity, helping you feel stronger inside and out. All levels are welcome.

A limited number of spots have been reserved as complimentary in this trial class. These spots are ONLY for students who have not previously registered for this class or instructor. Eligibility is based on previous registrations, not attendance. Advance registration is required to attend. 

What’s up north? Join Ginny on this spring tour of the most natural part of Central Park, the North Woods and Harlem Meer, featuring stone arched bridges and manmade waterfalls. We’ll visit the newly renovated Conservatory Gardens’ formal French, English, and Italians gardens with their beautiful spring blooms, and see the gate that belonged to a Vanderbilt. Then we’ll venture over to explore the brand new, state-of-the-art facility, Harlem Meer Center, that replaced the Lasker Pool and Rink.

Led by Fashion Designer Kathlin Argiro, this exclusive tour of M&S Schmalberg, America’s last remaining fabric flower factory, offers a behind-the-scenes look at a working Garment District atelier that continues to serve designers across fashion, theater, and film. Participants will observe the traditional processes used to cut, dye, press, and assemble fabric flowers by hand, gaining insight into how heritage techniques remain relevant within today’s industry. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see slow craftsmanship in action within a rapidly evolving fashion landscape and the role it plays in contemporary fashion.

Join us for our annual stroll around Bronxville Lake, hoping to spot up to twenty species of birds in just two hours. May is nesting season and the birds are in their colorful breeding plumage. Baltimore Orioles, Red-winged Blackbirds, Yellow Warblers, and Tree Swallows will delight the eye. Learn to identify a variety of birds by sight and song.
