Acrylic Painting is a fun, wonderful, versatile paint medium that can provide a lifetime of enjoyment! In this class, you will learn how to express yourself in this colorful medium. You’ll learn the techniques of acrylic painting, including blending, texturizing, brush handling, detailing, stippling, dabbing, glazing, wet-on-wet, and dry brushing. You’ll also learn about color mixing, complementary colors, warm and cool, hue, value, intensity, and proportions. You will be surprised at how quickly your skills improve by observing and painting along with step-by-step class presentations, which make it easy to understand and put these techniques into practice. Once you learn these skills, you’ll find them becoming second nature, and you’ll greatly increase your ability to paint the world around you.

You will explore the highly expressive and versatile media of pen and marker in this fascinating class. Discover the bold, detailed mark-making of pen and ink, combined with the expressive color of marker. In this class, we will be learning both of these media and how to combine them to create beautiful, expressive works of art!

This class takes travel sketching to the next level, and explores a fascinating variety of urban scenes from around the world! In this class, you'll learn how to draw and paint the intriguing world of cities, towns, and urban scenes, in pencil, pen, and watercolor.
Note: participation in the Travel Sketching 1 class is not required in order to enroll in this class.
