We’re going to Mars! As a group we will learn the skills we need to survive on Mars; taking care of each other, feeding ourselves, and lots of other cool space stuff! We will also be building spaceships, traveling to Mars inside a portable planetarium, and designing what our first colony on Mars will look like!
Days 1 & 2 AM (9am-12pm): First Aid
Day 3 AM (9am-12pm): Plant ID
Day 4 AM (9am-12pm): Space stuff (Museum of Flight, portable planetarium!)
Day 5 AM (9am-12pm): Rocketry
12pm-1pm: BREAK (for packed lunches)
Daily PM: Black Rocket Minecraft World Builder with extra urban planning and city building - As a group you will be designing your Mars colony in Minecraft! Start by building the world, then as a group plan out how you will design your city to survive the harsh Mars environment. Students will learn from professional urban and city planners to build the best city possible to settle Mars!
This camp is designed for ages 7-11.
