The Constitution in the Context of Crises (Wednesday, Sept. 30, 5:30pm-7:30pm CT)    NEW!

Join us as we shine a spotlight on the U.S. Constitution, the time-tested “operating system” for the world’s longest-running republic. In this class you’ll learn how the Constitution endures, despite the pressures and stresses placed on a constitutional system during a mass crisis. We will look to departures from constitutional practices in time of war or threat of war, during escalation, and exceptions to the Constitution noted and later reversed as a result of exogenous shocks. Class size limit: 98.

Register online by Sept. 24.
