The 1898 Spanish-American War (Thursdays, 5:00pm-7:00pm ET)    NEW!

This class will cover the important political, military and social aspects of the Spanish-American War and place them in the world context of Western colonial expansion. We will examine how the conflict led to America's acquisition of its own overseas empire. Come and enter the world of 1898 and learn how the United States dramatically marched onto the world stage and rose to global power and influence. Class size limit: 150.
