Leon Sinks Geological Area Tree Identification Hike (Friday, 2/28 with a raindate of 3/6, 10:00am-2:00pm)  

In this class Stan Rosenthal will lead you on a hike practicing identifying trees in this highly species diverse forest. The trail weaves through longleaf pine sandhills dotted with numerous sinkholes that create abundant islands of beautiful hardwood forest. Whether you are a well-seasoned plant identification person or a beginner, there will be something for everyone on this fun adventure. We will meet at the parking area by the bathrooms. Class size limit: 15.

REQUIREMENT: Attendees must be able to walk a forest trail.
