Wakulla Springs State Park Hike (Friday, 3/6, 9:30am)

The Wakulla Springs Nature Trail provides easy-to-moderate hiking through southern hardwood forests and maple-cypress habitats. Wildflowers and wintering songbirds may be seen, and the first half-mile of the trail has tree identification markers. The trail is well marked but has many roots, so good walking shoes or hiking boots are necessary. Ample parking and restrooms are at the Wakulla Springs Lodge. After the hike enjoy snacks or lunch at the Lodge’s Dining Room or its old-fashioned soda fountain. Details about carpooling, etc. will be emailed later. Maximum: 20. Register online by Feb. 21.
