The Institute on World War II and the Human Experience is a collection of artifacts related to the World War II era, 1931-1949. Collections include material from all branches of the American armed forces, as well as women’s military units, the Red Cross, USO, Merchant Marines, and home front defense workers and volunteers. Our program includes a tour of the archives, a brief overview of the work, and a 30-minute lecture illustrated with artifacts. Please note that for those with limited mobility our visit involves a set of stairs to climb. Maximum: 20. Register online by Feb. 21. Contact Harriet Waas, waas01@comcast.net.
