Grapes come in many varieties—far too many to explore in just two sessions. In this wine tasting course, participants will focus on the grape varieties that have received the greatest attention from grape growers, winemakers, and wine consumers around the world.

During each session, participants will taste a curated selection of major white and red grape varieties, learn where these grapes are grown, and use the wine aroma wheel to better understand flavor profiles. Discussion will include identifying and isolating key components such as alcohol, sugar, oak, tannins, acidity, varietal character, aromas, body, and texture.

    Important Course Updates:

    • This course includes both the white and red tasting courses.
