This camp is designed for the beginning softball player. Fundamentals of the game combined with fun activities to keep the campers engaged will be incorporated. Camp will finish with slip and slide fun.

Grades: K-6th

Lunch is not provided. T-shirt included.

Check-in: 9:30 am. Camp: 10 am to 2 pm

The GSC Academic parking lot on Highlander Way will serve as the primary location and that is where drop off and pick up occurs each day. In case of inclement weather, the campers will go to Alumni Memorial Hall on College Drive. Bring sunscreen, a towel, your own lunch, refillable water bottle, all necessary softball equipment (glove, bat, etc.), and change of clothes for the ride home if wanted.

This camp is designed specifically for the advanced youth to middle school player with aspirations to compete on a travel team or for their local high school.  Position specific defensive work, offensive skill, baserunning and live scrimmage play will be incorporated throughout the camp.  Camp will finish with slip and slide fun. Parents are welcome to spectate.

Grades: 4th - 8th

The Gordon State College Softball program invites you to the GSC Softball Prospect Camp to learn the fundamentals of the game of softball while showcasing your talent. Join head coach Ally Hattermann and her team as you sharpen your skills, and increase your understanding of the game, and gain exposure to a collegiate setting.  This camp is open to 8th-12th grade students that aspire to play at the collegiate level. 

Lunch not included - please bring a sack lunch, refillable water bottle, sunscreen, etc.

Check in starts at 9:30am, camp will start at 10am sharp. Parents are welcome to spectate.

Campers will be divided into teams for instruction and games. All campers need tennis shoes or turfs, cleats/spikes, bat, glove, catcher’s gear and helmet. (NO equipment will be supplied). 

For Girls Ages 14-18

Join our Club Voleyball team for a week of skills, drills and camaraderie! 

Lunch is not included in the price, please bring your own lunch Monday through Thursday. Our popular soccer camp, led by Gordon State College coaches, is designed to provide a positive learning environment for both boys and girls. The camp is game-oriented and dedicated to developing players to meet their full potential while providing individual attention and development. Grouped by skill level, from beginner to advanced, all players benefit with this four-day camp offered over two different weeks for ages 4-12 and ages 13-18. Parents are encouraged to register and complete required paperwork prior to the early bird deadline of June 1st in order to ensure our staff adequate time to complete necessary documentation.
Each parent/guardian is required to complete and return the Junior Highlander form above prior to the first day of camp. Daily check-in/check-out is mandatory for each camper.

Ages 9-13
Georgia Youth Science & Technology Centers (GYSTC) has proudly partnered with Gordon State College to bring you a summer STEAM camp which offers a fun, adrenaline-filled learning experience in science, technology, engineering and math, plus art and adventure! We are looking for students who enjoy discovering new things, solving problems, being creative, and learning how things work through hands-on experiments. Our camp leaders will actively educate these campers in a fun and engaging way that will help them learn valuable skills and work on their team-building spirit! Potential subjects include clay, painting, STEM activities, computing, drones, astronomy, and team-building physical activities.

The camp fee includes lunch at Gordon State College. Campers should wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes, and bring sunscreen along with non-perishable snacks and refillable water bottles every day.
