Ages 6-12
Join us for an exciting week filled with theatre and performing & visual arts. The week will culminate in a final performance open to parents and guests on the afternoon of Thursday July 20th! Our camp leaders will actively educate these campers in a fun and engaging way that will help them learn valuable skills and work on their team-building spirit! Younger camp will include music and dance elements.
The camp fee includes lunch at Gordon State College. Campers should wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes; and bring along swimwear, towel and change of clothes as well as sunblock for water play each afternoon beginning at 3pm; non-perishable snack; and refillable water bottles every day. Drop off will be in the back of the Student Center off Spencer street each morning starting at 8:15 and pick up will be at the Alumni Gym on College Drive (staff parking lot accross from the big jumbo screen) at 4pm every day. If you do not want your child to get wet you may pick them up here at 3pm.

Our newest camp to the lineup! Led by Gordon State College coaches and the girls Softball team, is designed to provide a positive learning environment for both boys and girls. The camp is created with the beginner in mind and most of all - FUN! Over the course of four half-days, kids in grades Kindergarten through 5th will have different softball-oriented activity's with time for a mid-morning snack and a wet day on Wednesday. Parents are encouraged to register and complete required paperwork prior to the early bird deadline of June 21st in order to ensure our staff adequate time to complete necessary documentation.
Each parent/guardian is required to complete and return the Junior Highlander form above prior to the first day of camp. Daily check-in/check-out is mandatory for each camper.
The GSC Academic parking lot on Highlander Way will serve as the primary location and that is where drop off and pick up occurs each day. In case of inclement weather, the campers will go to Alumni Memorial Hall on College Drive. Bring sunscreen, a towel, a snack, refillable water bottle, all necessary softball equipment (glove, bat, etc.) and change of clothes for wet day.

Check in starts at 8:30am each day and dismissal is at 12:00pm sharp. Schedule is as follows:
“Movin’ and Groovin’ Monday” – At random times, 30 second music clips will be played during camp and campers are to let loose and start dancing no matter what they are doing!
“Tie Dye Tuesday” – Wear your best tie dye or bright neon colors to camp.
“Wet Wednesday” – Lots of water games – Bring water clothes, swimsuit, towels, etc.
“Tournament Thursday” – Games and competitions will take place per age group. Wear camp t-shirt on this day.

Furthermore, NCFA rules prohibit free or reduced camp admission privileges for prospects in the 9th grade or above. Refunds for leaving camp early will be reviewed case by case. With homesickness and lethargy, typically no refunds are given.
HEALTH, PHYSICALS & INSURANCE
Campers must be protected by personal medical insurance. Additionally, at check-in, each camper must present a copy of a physical (done within the last year) or a physician’s signature on our camp form stating that the camper has been examined and is physically fit to participate in camp. A certified athletic trainer will be on hand at all times.
ITEMS TO WEAR/BRING
Workout gear necessary: Helmet Cleats, tennis shoes, practice shirts and shorts. Compression shorts are recommended.
For Specialist Camp, Kickers please bring 2 footballs (if you have them), 1 kicking tee, a kicking block OR kicking tri-pod, kicking shoes and workout attire.
MISCELLANEOUS
Any prescription medication, medical questions/information/instructions can be given to our Sports Medicine staff during the check-in process.
Water and sports drinks will be provided for all campers throughout camp. However, the camper is welcome to bring a water bottle.
Campers may want to bring a bag or tie sack to keep phones, sunscreen, dry socks, etc. in during the day.

Georgia Youth Science & Technology Centers (GYSTC) has proudly partnered with Gordon State College to bring you a summer STEAM camp which offers a fun, adrenaline-filled learning experience in science, technology, engineering and math, plus art and adventure! We are looking for students who enjoy discovering new things, solving problems, being creative, and learning how things work through hands-on experiments.Our camp leaders will actively educate these campers in a fun and engaging way that will help them learn valuable skills and work on their team-building spirit!
The camp fee includes lunch at Gordon State College. Campers should wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes, and bring swim wear, sunscreen and towels for water activities along with non-perishable snacks and refillable water bottles every day.
