Presented entirely online, this course will assist you in preparing to take the practical portion of the ACTAR exam (the reconstruction).
You will view a video that covers the following topics:
Materials to bring to the second part of the exam
Calculating the center-of-mass of a vehicle
Drawing scale vehicles
Measuring departure angles
Measuring approach angles
Measuring departure distance
Properly reporting PDOF
After watching the video, you will be given two different crashes to reconstruct. The instructor will grade your work and then contact you to go over any weak areas.

This is the 8-hour practical portion review of the ACTAR exam. If you wish, you may take the theory portion only, available with the 32-hour ACTAR Exam Preparation - Part 1 Only course, or the comprehensive review, available with the 40-hour ACTAR Exam Preparation - Comprehensive course.
Online environment: This is an independent study, self-paced course. Although there are no specific times that you must be online, you will be required to complete assignments by the deadlines posted within the course. Hence, you must be committed to the course and invest the time necessary for successful completion. You should plan to dedicate approximately eight hours to the course activities. Course must be completed within 30 days upon enrollment.
Computer requirements: You will complete the course entirely online. A dependable broadband internet connection with a Windows or Mac computer is required. Some assignments will require you to upload a PDF, JPG, or scanned image of a diagram in order to complete a project.
